Last Friday’s Sports Day was a fun filled day. Once again students and families joined in the spirit of the occasion and dressed in team colours to bring a sense of joy and celebration to the proceedings. Thanks to everyone for participating so well and to all family members who supported the day. The Team Captains and Vice Captains made a strong contribution by encouraging students to join in war cries and play with enthusiasm and sportspersonship. Thank you to Rick and Maria from our local fruit & veg shop Rick and Maria’s Hope Valley for generously providing us with delicious apples and oranges to distribute to children. Pancake Day was a Great Success
Pancake Day was a huge success with over 600 pancakes sold and over $700 raised. The Student Representative Council decided to donate the money to Uniting Care Wesley Bowden because UCWB provides great support to some of our families. A big thank you is extended to our local Hope Valley Foodland supermarket which so generously provided the pancake mix, jam, maple syrup and water. We appreciate your support SO MUCH! Thank you also to the Hope Valley Church volunteers Scott, Nathan and Ben for creating the unique pancake delights. What an amazing contribution the Year 7’s and other students made as they worked like an experienced crew, preparing, serving and packing up. Nothing was too much trouble. WELL DONE TEAM!! Finally, thanks to Natalie Hall our SRC Coordinator and all the other teachers & SSO’s for their efforts, behind the scenes, to make the day so successful. |

We already have a couple of interested parents. If you or someone you know would like to join us and share twin tales, give us a call on 82649828 and we’ll make a time and space for ya’ll.
