2022 enrolment and class structure processes
Accurate enrolment details are needed so we can determine numbers for our 2022 classes. Therefore if your family is considering moving, or you know of someone moving into our area it is important that you let us know as soon as possible. If you have a younger sibling to start next year and you haven't completed an enrolment form please contact the front office staff as soon as possible. Animalia Competition
The alphabet book "Animalia" by Graeme Base is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year and The Royal Australian Mint has released 2 special coins to celebrate. Our school is running an "Animalia" competition and the prize is one of these specially minted coins. Students can create a poem, picture or anything original about one of the pages in this fascinating alphabet book. All entries are to be given to the library by November 9th. The winner will be announced on November 10th. |
Last term, Room 3A and 3B went to camp at Narnu Farm. We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. We had the BEST time!
Narnu farm is located in Hindmarsh Island. It took us about 2 hours to get there. The bus ride on the way there was very noisy but on the way back it was very quiet as we were super tired.
There were 6 rooms with bunk beds and a Shearers Quarters which is a very nice place to sleep, it even had an indoor bathroom.
There were lots of things you could do like horse riding, ride on a Vintage truck, butter making, blacksmithing, holding the baby chicks and hand ploughing. The best part was feeding the animals including the babies. We had lots of food to eat and great weather! We were very grateful to the parent helpers who came along.
